The  JOINT - STOCK COMPANY "HYDROMETALLURG" is placed in Nalchik - the
capital of  Kabardino - Balkarian Republic. The present - day Nalchik is an
industrial,  scientific  and  cultural  centre  of  Kabardino  - Balkariya;
Besides  it  is  a  wellknown  health resort of the Russian Federation. The
Nalchik hydrometallurgical plant was put into operation in 1962.


   


     This   is  the  enterprise,  where  the  tungsten  anhydride  and  the
molybdenum  concentrate  are produced. For the production of these products
are  used  scheelite- tungsten, tungsten-molybdenum, tungstenite concentrates 

and the tungsten containing scrap.The existing technology was worked out,

taking  into  consideration  the  researchesof the Institute"Mechanobor"

(St.Petersburg) and the industrial experience of the

Tyrnyauz tungsten - molybdenum enterprise.The high road connects

Tyrnyauz with Nalchik.  There  is an unforgettable view

of the snowy peaks of Elbrus mountain and the picturesque landscapes of the

Baksan gorge.This is the Elbrus area.
